Wine Tasting Notes

Gewürztraminer is a German term that means “Spiced Traminer” or “Perfumed Traminer” and the grapes originated from the Alsace region of France.

This Gewürztraminer exudes fragrant notes of rose petals, candied ginger, delicate floral accents of jasmine and hints of peppered spice. Finish with flavourful layers of luscious lemon tart, apricot and tutti fruiti.

Winemaker Notes

Grown in the Okanagan, these Gewürztraminer grapes were soaked on the skins briefly to deepen the light golden colour. A short age on the lees in stainless steel lends a complexity to the flavours and a boost to the mouthfeel.

Food Pairing Notes

Veal Schnitzel and light gravy, or a Turkey dinner with stuffing.
