Fresh, elegant, and delicately aromatic, the 2024 Estate Grown Madeleine Sylvaner showcases the charm of this historic European varietal grown in the cool climate of the Fraser Valley. Crafted in a dry style, this wine highlights purity of fruit alongside a refined mineral character.
Opens with a delicate bouquet of field flowers, soft vanilla, pomelo, and ripe yellow plum. Pale straw in colour with brilliant clarity, this aromatic white wine carries a crisp, mineral-driven palate balanced by vibrant medium-plus acidity. Bright flavours of lime zest and fresh kiwi weave through the palate, leading to a clean mineral finish that is both refreshing and elegantly refined.
Winemakers Notes
Fermentation in both stainless steel and new French oak adds complexity and balance—preserving bright aromatics while contributing subtle texture and depth. A short period of lees aging further enhances the mouthfeel while maintaining the wine’s crisp, refreshing profile.
