Wine Tasting Notes
The 2021 Meritage showcases the depth and structure of premium Okanagan Valley fruit. Carefully balanced and thoughtfully aged, this wine brings together the richness of Merlot, the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon, and the aromatic lift of Cabernet Franc.
Aromatic and layered with notes of fresh herbs, warm spice, dark chocolate, and ripe red fruits. Smooth and balanced flavours, with medium acidity and soft, integrated tannins with notes of mint and red licorice that unfold alongside red fruit notes, leading to a long, refined finish.
Winemakers Notes
Extended barrel aging in predominantly neutral oak adds refinement and complexity, allowing the components of the blend to harmonize into a wine that is both elegant and approachable.
