2025 Estate Grown Late Harvest Ortega
Fraser Valley, British Columbia VQA
Luscious, aromatic, and beautifully balanced, our 2025 Late Harvest Ortega showcases the concentrated character of estate-grown Fraser Valley fruit. Crafted predominantly from Ortega with a small addition of oak-aged Viognier, this dessert-style wine combines rich natural sweetness with vibrant acidity, creating an elegant balance of fruit, freshness, and texture.
The Ortega grapes were left on the vine until mid-October, allowing the fruit to develop greater concentration and naturally elevated sugar levels. Whole clusters were gently pressed before fermentation, which was arrested by cooling the wine to -4°C to preserve its natural residual sugar. Following fermentation, 5% oak-aged Viognier was blended into the wine, adding another layer of aromatic complexity and texture.
