Merlot

Chaberton Estate Winery
2020 Merlot
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia VQA
Rich, elegant, and beautifully mature, the 2020 Merlot highlights the depth and structure of fruit grown in the Oliver region of the Okanagan Valley. Crafted from 95% Merlot with a small addition of Cabernet Franc, this wine offers generous dark fruit, polished tannins, and layered complexity from extended barrel aging.
Aged for 23–30 months in oak barrels, including 29% new oak, this Merlot has developed refined structure and savoury depth while maintaining vibrant fruit character. The result is a medium to full-bodied red wine with integrated tannins, balanced acidity, and excellent aging potential.
