New Vintage Release – 2020 Estate Grown Siegerrebe

New Release | June 4, 2021
Siegerrebe Grapes

Siegerrebe (literally “Victory Vine” in German) is a cross-breed between Madeleine Angevine and Gewürztraminer cultivated mainly in Germany, but we successfully grow this varietal here in the Fraser Valley.

The flavours are reminiscent of a Gewürztraminer with melon, honey dew and a bright acidity, and has a intense aroma of lychee, dried apricots and mandarin orange. This golden yellow wine with a hint of pink is sure to get your taste buds dancing.

Winemaker Notes: Free run juice was fermented with selected yeasts in stainless steel tank to preserve fruity aroma with temperature 12-14 C. After fermentation aged on fine lees for 2 months with battonage once a week to get a creamy flavor and smooth palate.

Perfect with prawn dishes with a kick, white meats either grilled or pan fried and strong cheeses
Try with shredded pork carnitas
